As Senior Business Controller your primary areas of focus will be:

· Performing monthly and year-end closing processes thereby ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal reporting requirements.

· Collaborating with internal departments to gather necessary information to resolve any dis-crepancies that may arise during the closing procedures.

· Independently drive automation and improve reporting by translating data into visuals & insights.

· Defining and monitoring relevant KPIs and comparing company’s performance against in-dustry benchmarks.

· Collecting and analyzing both financial and non-financial data to support management’s decision-making processes. Our data is coming from different sources & programs that re-quire active data management. The output contains a wide variety of valuable signals.

· Establishing robust communication channels and feedback systems, to foster transparency, build trust, and enhance collaboration with stakeholders.

· Assisting the accounting team in the preparation of audit deliverables

Your Profile:

You enjoy thoroughly analysing data, recognizing patterns, and interpreting underlying narrative be-hind them. You take pride in presenting your discoveries through high-quality reporting that en-hances value throughout the company. You have:

· Successfully completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree with a focus on accounting or finance.

· At least 5 years of relevant working experience in a business control or financial control.

· Experience with data handling systems, database management & some coding would be great. Expert knowledge of Excel is required and PowerBI and/or Python would be a great bonus.

· A profound analytical mindset is necessary. You must be able to process large amounts of information and draw accurate conclusions.

· “Hands-on” and strong appetite to work in a fast-paced environment. You live by the ‘can do’ mentality and aim to positively surprise your audience by going above and beyond the expected.

· Great attention to detail.

· Excellent communication skills, in both oral and written English (Dutch is a plus).
